I couldn’t hack it as a food journalist, so we make zines now!
Issue #1: The Freedom Fry Issue is available now!
It’s a single sheet of eight pages of political musings on the french fry, a proof of concept for future zines we’ll be distributing through the FH network.
You can download it here. There’s also a JPG at the bottom of this post if you wanna modify it. The zine is formatted so all you need to do after you print it is fold and cut. I gave a fair amount of space in the margins that I sharpied black in case your printer/copier crops a little too much, or if you want to add something in the margins.
You can see directions for assembling a one-sheet zine here.
I am releasing this under creative commons; if anyone wants to modify or adapt the work into other work and redistribute. Ideally the zines made through this model can distributed where people are doing the work, or just anywhere that could use some zines in their library, without worrying about intellectual property.
I hope this model can help FRY HAVOC be the resource I always intended it to be.
I also hope you enjoy this zine, or at least don’t find it objectionable enough.
